Mr. Plasek is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, assisting in the facilitation of merger and acquisition transactions, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry. Prior to joining Hillwoth Bank Partners, Mr. Plasek was a Sr. Associate with Hovde Group, LLC, a nationwide investment banking firm focused on the financial services sector.
Mr. Plasek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Mr. Plasek is a CFA charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst), and is an affiliate member of the CFA Institute and Society of Austin. Mr. Plasek is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and holds the Series 79 and 63 licenses.
